I moved to DC Metro this past July to begin my new job. Prior to moving here, I was finishing my last semester of graduate school at the University of Pittsburgh, as well as traveling several times between DC, Pittsburgh and back home to Nebraska and even Kansas. Needless to say, come this past July, I had broken my own personal heaviest weight just over the course of six stressful months. I was completely distraught because I spent my younger years as a dancer, working out practically twice a day, 6 days a week.
I found Walter’s Bootcamp on Groupon and being desperate for results, I signed up. Little did I know I would really come to enjoy the early morning workouts and see great results within a few short months. Since I began in late July, my greatest achievements have been losing 10 lbs and 4 inches from my waist. I was very ecstatic to see such results because it meant that I was getting back to a healthier me and I could start fitting back into my old clothes!
Bootcamp Breakthrough has created a sense of accountability for me to stay healthy and despite the early mornings, I find it easy to get up in the morning knowing that there will be other great people working hard with me. Walter also brings great enthusiasm and dynamism every morning so that each workout is a new adventure. Even as it gets colder, I still want to go out in the morning and exercise because I find it very satisfying to be outdoors and get an incredible workout that I would never accomplish by myself at a gym.
