Every year we turn a new page to January 1st and everything seems possible. Setting goals such as losing weight, getting toned, improving health, or getting into the best shape of your life may become annual ritual statements instead of a reality.
Has it become a reality for you yet, or has the New Year had a dreadful start? How are you progressing in achieving the goals you set for 2014? If you are still chasing those fit goals that seem elusive, you are not alone. According to a report in Business Wire, nearly two thirds of adults in the United States who make New Year’s resolutions have set fitness goals as part of their resolution. Of those, 73 percent gave up before meeting their goal.
Is 2014 your year or not? The decision is yours. If you fell short of reaching your goals in 2013, it’s time to let go and breakthrough! In the past, your excuse for not achieving your fitness or life goals might have been stress, loss of a loved one, the kids, hating your job, lack of support from significant other, long working hours, too much debt, or low energy. It’s a new year. Time to pick up the pieces and make it happen. Stop falling victim to your circumstances, and make yourself priority. If you want that beach body or want to improve your health and energy, stop wishing for it! Work for it!
