The Power of Commitment

I’m not going to lie—getting in shape is HARD WORK. If you’re not 100% committed to a healthy lifestyle, achieving the results you want will be an uphill battle.

When I first started working out with Walter, my biggest struggle wasn’t exercise—I always enjoyed working out. My real challenge? Food. I LOVE to eat—cake, ice cream, french fries… you name it! Sticking to a healthier diet and limiting “junk food” to my designated cheat days (which Walter allowed after I hit specific monthly goals) was tough at first.

But then something clicked. As the weight started coming off, my cravings for unhealthy foods started to fade. I saw firsthand that when I followed the plan—working out consistently and eating right—the weight actually came off. Of course, we all know this in theory, but seeing is believing. Losing those first five pounds was my turning point. At that moment, I knew that if I listened to Walter and stuck to the plan, I could reach my goals.

As I got closer to my fitness goals, I became even more determined to make the right choices. I still love to eat, but now I make smarter choices:

✔ If I crave french fries, I cut up a sweet potato, bake it instead of frying it.

✔ If I want chocolate, I grab a bite-sized version instead of a full candy bar.

✔ If I’m craving ice cream, I go for Edy’s Grand Light instead of a high-calorie option.

It’s all about moderation and making better choices.

As you begin to see your body transform, you start thinking twice before making decisions:

❓ Should I go to the gym or just go home? → I’ll go to the gym.

❓ Do I really need two slices of pizza, or do I want to feel great in my jeans? → I’ll make a better choice.

Every day, visualize the person you want to become. It will help you make the right choices. Starting out is hard, but trust me—it gets easier. Commit to yourself 100%, and you WILL reach your goals.
